It was the fifth time that month that Denis, a product engineer from Turkey, had to explain his project specifications to yet another supplier. His team was developing a next-generation flexible heater, and they needed a low-temperature curing silver paste with very specific rheology, a high-stability dielectric layer, and a conductive adhesive that could bond to an unusual polymer substrate. Each of these materials came from a different manufacturer. None of those manufacturers really understood how their paste would interact with the others in the final application. Denis spent weeks chasing three separate technical teams, decoding inconsistent data sheets, and juggling sample shipments from different countries. Lead times stretched into months, and his launch window began to close.

We’ve seen this scene replay countless times. For nearly 15 years, we worked deep inside the electronic materials industry specially electronic paste — in formulation R&D, on factory floors managing production, and directly supporting customers’ application challenges. We understood the frustration intimately. Most producers are specialists in one category: one makes brilliant silver conductor, another focuses on resistor paste, a third is strong in dielectrics or glass encapsulants. But real-world projects rarely require just one material. They require a complete, harmonized set that works flawlessly together. When a project demands something outside a producer’s standard range, the customer faces a painful choice: either manage multiple technical dialogues with fragmented suppliers, or persuade a single factory to develop an unfamiliar product from scratch — costing months of R&D effort, heavy trial expenses, and a delay that risks missing the market entirely.

We believed there had to be a better way. So we founded ELEC.
